Posts are being translated automatically

Recommended Posts

@cryptokram has noticed this as well. I too have experienced this couple of times.

When someone quotes our posts, the quoted post is getting translated automatically. I think it is a forum bugs which should be fixed, otherwise, some may report as spam since it's in English board. @Admin @epidemia @ayatoslaw

So you are saying if you quote then it translate itself with the local language you have installed in you computer?

I have no way to check it coz I do not have other language in my system. Anyway, in that case I do not think it's the bug - it's about to disabling that language from your keyboard setting if I am not wrong.

I think they just use a Google translator and forget to switch back to English. I do not think that these are technical problems of the forum.

I see that when someone quoted me but i never experienced that if i am the one quoting the message.

Maybe the person quoted our message has their automatic translation on.

IF this is a bug on the forum then it is good that we noticed it early.

No, if someone else quote our post then it translated to their local. May be it's a problem from their side but as far as I am concerned, it's a forum issue and can be modified by the admin.

May be but forum setting must have been available to fix the issue. Otherwise, it will generate huge spammy looking post.

I doubt it will be a forum issue. It's the same logic - if someone has their own language installed in their system then browser is doing the trick.

Anyway, I think @Admin will know better than me since he is handing the forum software.

May be, I am not sure though. Anyway, I think we need to get it fixed asap since when more users will be posting, this problem will be seen here and there and it will be hard to follow the discussion.

Maybe they are using some bots or machine translations.
I noticed this thing also in forum and I don't know exactly how it is possible.
Quote should be exactly the same as original text.

I faced that yesterday, I thought it was already in English dialect but when I quoted it appeared that it is translated into English, if I am not mistaken the language was Indonesian but not so sure. I thought it was made in the forum here that's why I just ignored it only.

Everything will be fix, the admin is doing a great job and keep updating the forum.

Once that issue fixed i hope that everything will be done! and the local boards will be up soon!

This is a must to be done!

Yes, we dont need any translation in this website or forum! but that happened due to the BUG.

It is automatically translated with out doing anything! and I think that it is on the IP address!

I have noticed a lot of different language in the quote and most of the times I am reporting them. My question is are you not seeing the text was translated before posting? Or it is happening after you publish the post?

And I do not think it has anything to do with IP. It will happen if you have your local font installed in your system.

I have also notice some time it being automatically translated when we refresh it or some other. Although it may not a bug because many system has auto language translator and in chorme it must should be automatically translated.

But in some cases i see when some one quote then the actual text not appear and only <snip> is there in whole quote placeholder. I did not get to this and see almost 5+ times. This may be a bug.

That's what I though too. It is happening because of the browser setting one has. Google is too intellectual these days. I also think it is happening with those who has their local language installed in their system.

I never had this issue since I do not have any 2nd language and I have seen a lot of users also not having much issue.

The error is still in confusion, There only a spacific quote translared while my local language is English but its showing Arabic some times with many quaotes.

We can't say its a glitch or error in translator. So i think we should see more but why its only happening to crypto talk only. I have tested on forums on other language they are working well. Admins should look the problem to find out the glitch. I think many members are getting this issue but i still don't understand what is that.
